May 27: Congressional Record publishes “ORDERS FOR FRIDAY, MAY 28, 2021” in the Senate section

Politics 10 edited

Volume 167, No. 93, covering the 1st Session of the 117th Congress (2021 - 2022), was published by the Congressional Record.

The Congressional Record is a unique source of public documentation. It started in 1873, documenting nearly all the major and minor policies being discussed and debated.

“ORDERS FOR FRIDAY, MAY 28, 2021” mentioning Richard J. Durbin was published in the Senate section on page S3913 on May 27.

Of the 100 senators in 117th Congress, 24 percent were women, and 76 percent were men, according to the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress.

Senators' salaries are historically higher than the median US income.

The publication is reproduced in full below:

Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it recess until 9 a.m., Friday, May 28; that following the prayer and pledge, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; and finally, that all recess count postcloture on the Schumer substitute amendment No. 1502.

The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection?

Without objection, it is so ordered.
