Aniela Kowalkowska, nee Dziaba, aged 83, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 11, 2025. She was the former wife of the late Jozef Kowalkowski, and the beloved mother of Christine Jaroch, the late Frank Kowalkowski, Albert Kowalkowski, the late Mitchell Kowalkowski, and Bernadette Knup. Aniela was the loving grandmother of Natasia Naguszewski, Arthur Jaroch, Sabrina Jaroch, Emily Knup, Frankie Kowalkowski, Angelica Kowalkowski, Matthew Kowalkowski, Nina Kowalkowski, and Marin Kowalkowski. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Zofia Naguszewski, Izabella Naguszewski, and Leonardo Jaroch.

Aniela was the loving daughter of the late Anna and Wojciech Dziaba, and dear sister of the late Jozefa Rocha, Antoni Dziaba, and Andrzej Dziaba. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sheldon-Goglin-Kaminski Funeral Home in Chicago. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, with prayers and procession from the funeral home to Saint Francis Borgia Church for Mass, followed by interment at Saint Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.
