Multi-platinum country artist Bailey Zimmerman is set to perform at the Illinois State Fair on August 14, 2026. The concert will take place on Ag Day at the Illinois Lottery Grandstand stage in Springfield.

Zimmerman, who grew up in Louisville, Illinois, has seen rapid success since his start in 2020 when he began sharing original music online. His debut hit “Fall in Love” made him the fastest new country artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in more than ten years and has since achieved 4x-Platinum certification. He followed this with the 5x-Platinum song “Rock And A Hard Place,” which spent six weeks at No. 1.

His latest album, “Different Night Same Rodeo,” was released last year through Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville and includes collaborations such as “Backup Plan” with Luke Combs and “Lost” featuring The Kid LAROI.

Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II commented on the announcement: “Bailey Zimmerman’s Illinois roots make this announcement especially meaningful. He represents the talent and authenticity that Illinois is known for, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back home to perform at the Illinois State Fair.”

Zimmerman has been recognized by several major award shows including the Billboard Music Awards, ACM Awards, People’s Choice Country Awards, and CMT Music Awards. He has performed on national television programs such as Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark said: “Bailey’s connection to Illinois fans runs deep, and his live shows are nothing short of electric. This is a performance fairgoers won’t want to miss—whether you’ve followed his journey from the beginning or are just discovering his music.”

Tickets for Bailey Zimmerman’s show will be available starting Friday, February 13 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $55 for Tier 3 seats to $130 for Blue Ribbon tickets; an optional $30 Pre-Show Party ticket can be added.

The Illinois Department of Agriculture organizes the state fair each year as part of its broader role supporting agriculture and overseeing consumer protection programs across Illinois (https://agr.illinois.gov/news.html). This year’s event will run from August 13 through August 23 in Springfield.

Fair organizers encourage attendees to stay informed about updates via social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
