Chicago Ridge, IL – Carlos Rodriguez Sr., 93, passed away, preceded in death by his beloved wife, Romana, nee Ruiz Rodriguez. He was the devoted father of Migdalia (Robert) Kearney, Carlos Jr. (Vivian) Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez (Roger Dettloff), Javier (Sandra) Rodriguez, Adrian (Elvira) Rivera, Nelly Rivera, and the late Isabel (Jorge) Muñoz. Grandfather of Migdalia, Jasmin, Daniel, Nicole, Samantha, Clarisa, Matthew, Carlos III, Carina, Grace, Shanley, Robert, Jorge Aaron, Lorena, Lucia, Yesenia, Adam, Adrian Delores, Adrian III, Ritchi, Jesus, and Jose, and Great-Grandfather and Great-Great-Grandfather to many.

Carlos was a man of faith and a dedicated family man known for his quiet, honest, and humble nature. He had a strong work ethic and was generous without expecting anything in return. An avid White Sox fan, he had a passion for baseball. Carlos will be remembered for his kindness, hard work, and love of the game.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, starting with visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL 60415. The funeral will proceed to St. Bede the Venerable Church, 8200 S. Kostner Avenue, Chicago, IL 60652 for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
