Carmen Izzo Jr., aged 95, passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Ann, loving father of Mark, David, Dan, and the late Joseph, and dear stepfather to several. Carmen, a proud Marine veteran of the Korean War, spent his career as a City of Chicago electrician. Known for his instant friendliness, he cherished his family, friends, the Chicago Cubs, and golf. Visitation will be held on October 7th at Lawn Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL, with a Funeral Service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mokena on October 8th. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Disabled American Veterans are appreciated. For more information, contact (708) 532-3100.
