Catherine M. Wisniewski, aged 65, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at her home in Beecher, IL. Born in Chicago, IL, in 1959 to the late Ronald and Joan Wisniewski, Catherine was a beloved sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. She resided in Calumet City for over 30 years before relocating to Beecher in 2009.

Catherine’s educational journey included attending St. Michael’s the Archangel grade school in Chicago and graduating from Bowen High School in 1977. She embarked on her professional career at Continental Bank while in high school, leading to a lifelong commitment at Bank of America. Known for her adoration of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, her fandom of the White Sox, and her delight in watching game shows and ordering items from QVC, Catherine’s cheerful spirit shone brightly. Her love for the color purple, shopping with her nieces, and enjoying family gatherings reflected her joyful nature.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael, and sister-in-law Donna, Catherine is survived by her brothers, Gregory and Jami; sister-in-law Linda; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was cherished as a niece, cousin, and friend by many.

A Memorial Visitation and Service to honor Catherine will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the time of Service at 2:00 PM at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood, IL. Casual dress is requested.

Catherine M. Wisniewski will be forever remembered for her love, dedication, and positive energy that brightened the lives of all those around her.
