Catholic Vote President Brian Burch criticizes Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker for celebrating the promotion of abortion within his state and launching an abortion focused non-profit.

“The gross irony of a governor, whose citizens are fleeing the state, celebrates terminating the lives of the next generation of children in Illinois,” Burch told Prairie State Wire.

Breitbart News reports that Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker “is ‘proud’ of abortionists who end the lives of unborn babies.” He made the statement in a video launching his national nonprofit, Think Big America, which promotes abortion in the United States.

“Today is Abortion Providers Appreciation Day. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, clinic staff and volunteers who help those in need, treating their patients with dignity and compassion,” Pritzker said. “You’re on the front lines of this fight, and your sacrifices and your work make me proud.”

“With Think Big America, we’re going state by state and across the nation to protect a women’s right to an abortion,” Pritzker also said. The 501c4 organization’s website says its mission is to support ballot initiatives that will make killing unborn children easier “for all Americans.”

Madison, Wisconsin-based Catholic Vote is an advocacy organization that wants to “inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life,” according to the group’s website. Founded in 2008, its president is Brian Burch.
