Chicago, Illinois – Celia C. González, 76, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was the daughter of Juan and María, and the devoted wife of José de Jesús. Celia was a loving mother to Pedro, León, Carlos, and Jesús. She was also a caring sister to Alberto, Martin, Luis, Pedro, Gabriel, Jesús, Abigail, Elena, Lucio, Carmela, Dolores, Angela, and Rafaela. Celia was a cherished grandmother to Aolani, Camila, Lucy Anahí, and Cynthia. Visitation will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sagrada Familia Funeral Home in Burbank, Illinois. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the same location. A Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Rita de Cascia in Chicago, followed by interment at Cementerio San Casimiro at 11:45 a.m. Floral arrangements can be sent to the family or trees can be planted in memory of Celia C Gonzalez.
