Charles Frederick Wyllie, 68, of Oak Forest, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at his home. He was known for his craftsmanship, versatile skills, and service in the United States Army. Charles enjoyed fishing, camping, and collecting vintage items like model cars, trains, toys, and coins. He loved oldies music and Ozzy Osbourne, and his wild tendencies always led to entertaining stories. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Charles is survived by his wife, Donna, children Charles E. and Mary L., grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews. The visitation and memorial service will be on March 22, 2025, at Brown-Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno. A celebration of life will follow at the American Legion in Manteno. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.
