Cheryl Lynn Hiles, aged 69, of The Villages, passed away on September 14, 2025, at the University of Florida Hospital. Cheryl was born on February 9, 1956, in Kankakee to Gene and Juanita Reichert. On November 6, 1976, she married Fred Hiles at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Kankakee.

Cheryl was a dedicated homemaker and licensed barber, graduating from Westview High School in Kankakee. She enjoyed golfing and socializing and was affectionately known as “Meme” to her ten beloved grandchildren.

Surviving her are her husband Fred of The Villages; her sons, Nicholas Hiles of Villa Rica, GA, Jonathan Hiles of Montgomery, IL, and daughter Stephanie Jones of Coosada, AL; as well as her grandchildren Averie, Khloe, Dominic, Tristen, Grayson, Brynlee, William T., Bo, Eli, and Samantha.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Juanita Reichert. Cremation rites have been observed. A memorial visitation will be held on September 29, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with a memorial service to follow officiated by Deacon Patrick Skelly. Inurnment will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais.
