Before halftime, Zinckernagel converted a penalty after Cuypers was fouled in the box. Early in the second half, Cuypers scored again off a rebound following an Andrew Gutman cross. Evander pulled one back for Cincinnati with a penalty kick late in the game before an own goal brought it level at three goals each.
