Chicago Fire FC recorded its third consecutive victory after defeating Toronto FC 2-1 at Soldier Field on May 23. Defender Andrew Gutman scored the game-winning goal in the second half, marking his first of the season for Chicago.

Zinckernagel provided his fifth game-winning assist for Chicago while also recording a goal contribution for three consecutive matches this year. Cuypers’ streak of scoring in ten straight regular season games ended but he contributed with an assist on Lod’s opener, bringing him to a team-leading fifteen goal contributions for 2026.
