Additional topics on the agenda include recent state legislation aimed at improving public access to eBooks, recognition for library staff achievements, ongoing strategic planning efforts across Chicago branches, and updates from both city council honors and external convenings hosted by or involving CPL leadership.
The next scheduled board meeting is set for September 15 at the Obama Presidential Center Branch.
