Community High School District 117 announced on May 6 that online registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open and must be completed by May 22.
The district said the process aims to streamline enrollment and ensure all students are registered before the upcoming academic year. Registration is done through an online portal, where parents or guardians log in with their username and password, select ‘More’ at the bottom of the Message Center, choose ‘Online Registration,’ and then begin the process for existing students.
District officials confirmed that proof of residency is required each year. For this cycle, they used Thomson Reuters CLEAR system to verify residency through public records. “Good news! We were able to electronically verify your residency information. No additional residency action is required at this time. When completing Online Registration for your student(s) into the 2026-27 school year, you may skip the residency portion. Documents DO NOT need to be uploaded,” according to district guidance.
