Classic cars will return to Downtown Tinley from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday starting June 2 during Cruise Night, according to a May 29 announcement. The event will run through September 1 and feature an expanded footprint along Oak Park Avenue and 67th Court.

Cruise Night is a free event that offers food and beverages for sale, DJ music, games of Bingo inside Studio 67 at Harmony Square, and displays of classic cars. Organizers said the event is bigger this year due to the expanded area for participants and attendees.

Attendees are encouraged to come out on Tuesday for the kickoff and return each week throughout the summer. The weekly gatherings are designed as community events with activities for all ages.

Cruise Nights are presented by Tinley Park V.F.W. Post 2791, and organizers said they hope the expanded offerings will attract even more visitors this season.
