Diane E. Leonard, 92, wife of the late John T. Leonard Ret. CFD, passed away. She is survived by her children Pam Hauser, John, Bill, Katherine Vassiliou, Joe, Mike, Tom, Mary Chorak, Casey, Jennifer, Paul, and Steve Leonard. She was also a devoted grandmother of 32 and great-grandmother of 34, the daughter of William and Ethel Peterson, and sister to Gail Kuenster and the late Leslie Lucas.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 3-8 p.m., with the funeral on Friday, May 2, 2025, starting at 9:45 a.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Orland Park, IL. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
