Joliet – Dr. Ann Marie Bodach, a dedicated educator from Joliet, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 7, 2025. Born on August 12, 1973, Ann earned two master’s degrees and a doctorate in education from the University of St. Francis. She taught with love and commitment at Wesmere Elementary School in Plainfield and previously at St. Paul the Apostle School in Joliet.

Survived by her parents, Robert C. and Ann E. Bodach, brothers, nieces, godparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, Ann’s love for family, friends, and her role as an educator shone through her acts of kindness and passion. She will be remembered for her dedication to learning and the many lives she touched in her career.

Visitation for Dr. Ann Bodach will be on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Farkas Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held the next day at Queen of Apostles. Donations in her name can be made to the University of St. Francis Education Department. Dr. Ann Bodach will be deeply missed.
