Eastern Illinois University announced on May 14 the dates for its 2026 Panther Club Golf Outings, inviting supporters to participate in two events aimed at supporting EIU student-athletes.

The outings are scheduled for Friday, August 7 at Effingham Country Club and Friday, October 2 at Meadowview Golf Club in Mattoon. The university said the events are open to alumni, fans, and golf enthusiasts who wish to contribute to student-athlete programs while enjoying a day of golf. Special guests will include University President Jay Gatrell and several EIU coaches.

Registration for both outings will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch served shortly after and a shotgun start set for 1 p.m. The Effingham Country Club event is priced at $200 per person and includes range balls, driving range access, lunch, on-course snacks, beverages, and dinner. The Meadowview Golf Club outing costs $125 per person or $500 per foursome and includes similar amenities except dinner.
