Eastern Illinois University released its athletics schedule for the week of April 27 to May 3, according to an announcement on April 27. The schedule includes competitions in men’s golf, baseball, softball, and track.

The release provides information for students, fans, and the university community about upcoming games and tournaments. This allows supporters to follow their teams and attend events held both on campus and at other locations.

Men’s golf will compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships over two days in West Lafayette, Indiana. On Tuesday evening, EIU Athletics will host Billy’s Award Show at 6:30 p.m., celebrating achievements within the department. Baseball is scheduled to play Bradley away on Wednesday at 6 p.m., while home games against Southeast Missouri are set for Friday through Sunday at Frost Field at Coaches Stadium.

Track athletes will participate in the Illinois Gary Wieneke Invite on Friday and Saturday starting at noon each day. The softball team is scheduled to play Tennessee State with a single game on Friday evening and a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Williams Field.

Looking ahead to May 4-10, the university notes that softball may compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament in Peoria, Illinois later that week. Additional home baseball games against SIUE are also planned during this period along with outdoor track competition at Indiana State Sycamore Open.
