Naples, Florida – Edward “Eddie” M. Dorans, age 65, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Orland Park, passed away. He was the beloved husband of Marie, loving dad of Todd (Reny) Dorans and Amanda (Jim) Boehmer, and the grandpa of Lennon, Harper, and Holden. Eddie was the devoted son of Bill and Elaine Dorans and the fun brother of Sue (John) Liss, Rich (Patti) Dorans, Jeanne Dorans, Tom (Debbie) Dorans, and Jim (Julie) Dorans. He was the uncle to Molly, Danielle, and Taylor Dorans; Ryan (Kylie), Billy (Olivia), and Jack Liss; Shannon, Brandon, and Rhett Dorans. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Dorans, Mother-in-law Irene Conrad, and Aunt Virginia Hughes.

Eddie dedicated 40 years of service as an electrician for IBEW Local 134. He had a wide circle of friends and golf buddies at The Glades Country Club in Florida. Eddie will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. He had a quick smile, a generous heart, and a unique ability to make everyone feel at ease and welcomed.

In memory of Eddie, please take a moment to raise a toast with a Budweiser, share a story, or play a round of golf, honoring his spirit and love for life.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, starting at 3:30 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd Street, Homer Glen.

Interment will be private.
