The luncheon recognized the contributions of FMH Auxiliary Volunteers, who donated a total of 4,697 hours of service in 2025. The gathering highlighted the important role that volunteers play within the hospital community.

Before the meal, Andy Flemer, Chief Executive Officer of Fairfield Memorial Hospital, addressed attendees and shared updates about ongoing growth at the hospital. Following this, Shauna Williams, Marketing Director and Coordinator of Volunteers, presented pins and bars to volunteers for their accumulated hours during 2025. Honorees included Susan Adams (100 Hour Pin and Bar), Shelia Goldston (100 Hour Pin and Bar), Toby Hucker (100 Hour Pin and Bar), Jill Mitchell (500 Hour Pin and Bar), Shirley Miller (1,000 Hour Pin and Bar), Paul Colarusso (1,500 Hour Pin and Bar), Judy Griswold (2,000 Hour Pin and Bar), Dave Land (2,500 Hour Pin and Bar) and Maxi Young (3,000 Hour Pin and Bar).

“Our volunteers are truly the heart of Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Their kindness, dedication, and willingness to serve make a meaningful difference for every patient, visitor, and staff member who walks through our doors. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of them during Volunteer Week and throughout the year,” said Shauna Williams.

Group photos were taken to commemorate both award recipients as well as all attending members.
