FDA ranks Illinois third for device company inspections in 2025

During 2025, the FDA conducted inspections at 53 device companies across Illinois, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This figure represented the third highest count of inspections by company type conducted by the FDA in Illinois, accounting for 11.4% of all inspections in the state that year.

Among device companies in Illinois, Pointcore Supply Chain Service, LLC received the greatest number of citations from the FDA in 2025.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.
