Fighting Illini volleyball opens season ticket renewals for 2026 campaign

The University of Illinois announced on Apr. 27 that the renewal period for Fighting Illini women’s volleyball season tickets is now open as head coach Chris Tamas prepares for his tenth year leading the team.

Current season ticket holders have until Friday, May 29 to renew their seats. After this deadline, fans will be able to upgrade their seats if available. The announcement comes after the program set a new record in 2025 for highest average home attendance, with an average of 3,238 fans attending each home match.

The team will return several key players from last year’s roster, including All-Big Ten Second Team members Taylor de Boer and Kenna Phelan, as well as Alyssa Aguayo who was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. The schedule for the upcoming season has not yet been released.

Ticket prices are listed at $149 for prime reserved public seating, $139 for sideline reserved public seating, and $65 for general admission.

The Fighting Illini mascot represents University of Illinois athletics, including the women’s volleyball team, according to the official website. The University of Illinois Fighting Illini Women’s Volleyball team competes in NCAA Division I as part of the Big Ten Conference, according to the official website. The team operates out of Champaign, Illinois, according to the official website.

With strong attendance numbers and returning talent from last year’s roster, expectations remain high among supporters heading into another competitive season.
