Four student-athletes from the Illinois Wesleyan University men’s and women’s track and field teams were named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Americans for their performances at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin, according to a May 26 announcement.
Seniors Evan Lowder, Taylor French, Adriana Crabtree, and junior Imani Ogunribido received All-American honors. French was recognized as a Second Team All-American, while Lowder, Crabtree, and Ogunribido earned First Team honors. French concluded her career as a Second Team All-American in the women’s javelin after throwing 41.97 meters in the preliminary round to finish 12th at the national championship. She also previously earned four All-American honors as a volleyball player.
Lowder secured his sixth career All-American honor by finishing eighth in the men’s outdoor 400-meter finals with a time of 47.11 seconds on May 23. Crabtree achieved a personal best in the preliminaries of the women’s 3000-meter steeplechase before running six seconds faster in the finals to place third with a time of 10:18.82—a mark that set a new College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin all-time record.
Ogunribido claimed her fifth career First Team All-American honor by winning back-to-back national championships in the outdoor triple jump. She became Illinois Wesleyan’s 21st national champion after jumping 12.83 meters on her final attempt; she is now only the third women’s triple jumper in Division III history to win consecutive national titles.
Ogunribido is expected to return for her senior season next year, while French, Crabtree, and Lowder conclude their collegiate careers as decorated Titans athletes.
The Illinois Wesleyan Titans Men’s Track and Field team hosts indoor events at Shirk Center Indoor Track in Bloomington, competes at NCAA Division III level within intercollegiate athletics under the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), features student-athletes from freshman through senior years, placed second at recent CCIW Championships, and is based locally—all according to information from the official website.
