Gayle E. Skeens, nee Pyrek, age 78, was the loving mother of Alice Ann (Bryan) Vaught and the dear grandmother of Alexander and Arianna (Joshua Orrick) Wright. She was also the cherished sister of Shirley, Edward (June), and the late Gregory, as well as loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Gayle’s enduring friendships included dearest friend Linda Whalen. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness to her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A visitation to honor Gayle will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home, located at 9236 South Roberts Road in Hickory Hills. Gayle will be privately interred.
