Hannah Hopper led the Illinois College Blue Boys and Lady Blues Clay Target Team in all three events during week four at the Jacksonville Sporting Club, according to a May 5 announcement.
The team’s participation is part of its ongoing involvement in intercollegiate athletics, providing student-athletes with opportunities to compete and develop their skills. The clay target program allows students to take part in precision shooting sports as part of a structured athletic environment, according to the official website.
In trap, Hopper scored a total of 48, including a perfect round of 25. She also posted a score of 47 in sporting clays and finished with an impressive near-perfect score of 49 in skeet. Adam Stuckemeyer matched Hopper’s top trap score with his own perfect round and total of 48. Nathen Trachta also achieved a perfect round of 25 in trap this week.
The full results for Spring Week #4 include strong performances from several athletes: Andrew Magnus scored consistently across events; Korina Hecht posted high marks particularly in sporting clays; and other team members such as Aurora Baker, Allyson Holste, Scottie Nicotra, Reece Winebrinner, Ann Feldhake, Cole Kapp, Morgan Tracey, Ian Flatt, Blake Hicks, Jadyn Grismer, Kassie Weideman and Jacob Sperandio contributed scores across trap and skeet disciplines.
The Illinois College Blue Boys and Lady Blues Clay Target Team competes as part of the Upper Midwest Clay Target League. The program functions as an intercollegiate athletics initiative focused on clay target shooting based out of Jacksonville, Illinois. The team aims to foster both competition experience and personal growth among its student-athletes through regular league participation and skill development opportunities according to the official website.
