Korina Hecht and Hannah Hopper led the Illinois College Blue Boys and Lady Blues Clay Target Team during the second week of the spring season on April 15 at Jacksonville Sporting Club.

The event saw Hecht, Hopper, and Andrew Magnus each record top scores of 48 in trap. Hecht also posted a leading score of 46 in sporting clays, while Hopper led skeet with a score of 46. Aurora Baker achieved the only perfect round of the week with a score of 25 in her second round of trap.

The team participated as part of its intercollegiate athletics program focused on clay target shooting, according to the official website. The program operates from Jacksonville, Illinois and gives student-athletes opportunities to compete in precision shooting sports according to the official website.

As reported by the official website, Illinois College competes in events such as those organized by the Upper Midwest Clay Target League. The athletic programs contribute to student-athlete development through competitive participation according to their official site.

The third week shoot is scheduled for Wednesday at Jacksonville Sporting Club.
