The University of Illinois Fighting Illini men’s golf team finished the first day of the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational in third place on April 18, with junior Dane Huddleston tied for the individual lead as play was suspended due to darkness at The Pfau Course in Bloomington, Indiana.

Sophomore Jake Birdwell and senior Ryan Voois are even-par in a tie for fifth place along with teammate Freddie Turnell, who is competing as an individual. Junior Ethan Wilson is tied for eighteenth at three-over par, while Max Herendeen (+9) and Trey Marrion (+11) round out the lineup.
