The Illinois College Blue Boys baseball team swept a doubleheader against Knox on April 25 in Midwest Conference play at Joe Brooks Baseball Field.

In the first game, Illinois College overcame an early deficit to win 9-5. Key contributions included Tyler Grzela’s RBI double and Josh Morales’ sacrifice fly that gave the team a lead they would not relinquish. Nicholas Muskophf added an RBI triple, while Nolan Decker and Logan Fleener each drove in runs as part of a five-run surge. Dawson Vernier pitched six innings, allowing three runs with eleven strikeouts for the win. Nathan Walker and Decker each collected three hits.

The second game saw Illinois College secure a decisive 21-6 victory over seven innings. Ketch Mills hit a three-run home run during a six-run first inning, while Tyler Barker contributed with a two-run homer later on. Anthony Buonaura pitched five innings, giving up four runs with six strikeouts. Mills finished with six RBIs and set a single-season school record with his fifty-fifth RBI; Barker set another school record by drawing his thirty-seventh walk.
