The Illinois College men’s golf team began play at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on April 26, posting a team score of 300 (+12) in the opening round at Far Oaks Golf Course. The Blueboys are currently tied for fourth place, trailing Grinnell College by ten strokes.

The event is significant as it marks one of the seasonal tournaments that Illinois College Blue Boys Golf participates in, according to the official athletics website. Emmitt Brokaw led Illinois College with a score of 73 (+1), highlighted by a back nine of 34 (-2) and five birdies. Isaac Anderson followed closely with a round of 74 (+2), recording four birdies. Myles Kampwerth added a score of 76 (+4), while Teddy Walbaum finished with a 77 (+5). AJ Odle completed his round with an 87 (+15).

Illinois College Blue Boys Golf competes under NCAA Division III rules and is part of the Midwest Conference, as reported by the official athletics website.
