The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Southern District of Illinois announced arrests following ‘Operation Big Muddy.’ Authorities say 21 fugitives were apprehended during a multi-agency effort targeting violent offenders.
Illinois State Rep. Brad Halbrook’s team met with students at Lake Land College’s career conference on April 14. The event focused on careers in government and public service. Staff members answered student questions and encouraged civic engagement.
Illinois State Senator Andrew Chesney has urged Governor J.B. Pritzker to opt into a federal scholarship tax credit program aimed at helping K-12 students through private donations. Voters have shown strong support for participation across several counties. The final decision now rests with the governor.
