Illinois State Representative Brad Fritts recognized Memorial Day on May 25 by honoring the service members who lost their lives in defense of the country. In a statement, Fritts said, “On Memorial Day, we remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation to ensure our freedom. Thank you to our fallen military heroes for your bravery and sacrifice.”
Fritts represents Illinois’ 74th House District as a Republican. He was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023, replacing previous state representative Dan Swanson, according to information about his election.
Memorial Day is observed across the United States as a time to honor military personnel who have died while serving in the armed forces.
Fritts’s message reflects ongoing traditions of remembrance and gratitude toward those who have served and sacrificed for national security.
