The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams recorded five top-five finishes during a two-meet weekend, according to an April 18 announcement. The Titans competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, and the Augustana Meet of Champions in Rock Island, Illinois.
These results highlight the team’s ongoing performance across different events and locations as part of their intercollegiate athletics schedule. The program operates within the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin at the NCAA Division III level, according to the official website.
Senior Evan Lowder achieved the fastest time among all Division III runners in the men’s 400-meter dash at Bryan Clay with a mark of 47.51 seconds, finishing seventeenth overall. At Augustana, sophomore Jacob Pinkston won first place in the men’s 800 meters with a time of 1:56.84. Freshman Victoria Lopez finished fifth in the women’s 5000 meters (19:55.60), while freshman Cameron Rask also secured fifth place in the men’s 100-meter final (10.87 seconds). In field events, freshman Gwendolyn Boettinger was fifth in women’s high jump (1.53 meters), and senior Isaac Whitaker took fourth place in men’s pole vault by clearing 4.70 meters.
The team features student-athletes from freshman to senior years who compete for Illinois Wesleyan University based in Bloomington, Illinois according to its official website. The Titans host indoor competitions at Shirk Center Indoor Track according to university information.

Looking ahead, Illinois Wesleyan will participate in three meets over one weekend starting Thursday, April 23: Monmouth on Thursday; Drake Relays from Thursday through Saturday; and Millikin Friday Night Invite on Friday.
