Bridgeview, IL – Janet Mary Tipperreiter, aged 78, peacefully joined her beloved husband Deacon Charles W. Tipperreiter in God’s embrace on October 22, 2025. She was the cherished sister of Mike Puttin and Judy Scheuring, loving stepmother of Debbie Kandefer, and dear sister-in-law of Bill Tipperreiter. Janet will be dearly missed by her extended family, including nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A devoted member of the St. Fabian parish, Janet was known for her kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. She actively engaged with the St. Fabian Women’s Club and Seniors group, served as a lector, and found solace in prayer at the Adoration Chapel. Her generosity, strength, and dedication to others reflected her deep love for God and her community.
Janet will be remembered for her steadfast commitment to her faith, community, and family. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Fabian Church in Bridgeview, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
Contributions toward the funeral to honor Janet’s life and memory are appreciated in lieu of flowers. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of faith and kindness will endure.
