Janice K. Giroux, aged 81, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. Janice, born on June 10, 1943, in Kankakee, was the daughter of Ralph and Freeda Legris. She married Robert L. Giroux on August 18, 1962, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Janice, a retired Family Dollar Store manager and former Pizza Hut Restaurants manager, was an active member of Maternity BVM Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Memorial visitation and service will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais, with inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Contributions may be made to the family. Cremation rites have been performed, and arrangements are handled by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home.
