Janina Berezowska, 76, passed away on July 17, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Jozef Podgorski and loving mother of the late Pawel Berezowski. Janina was also a dear stepmother to Adam Podgorski and Elzbieta Prokop. She will be deeply missed as a grandmother of Ignacy Berezowski, Sebastian, and Aleksandra Podgorski, as well as Sylwia, Mariola, and Kamil Prokop. Janina is survived by her sister, Celina Puchalska, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, located at 7861 S. 88th Avenue in Justice, Illinois.

The funeral service will take place on the same day, July 21, 2025, with prayers and procession beginning at 10:00 AM from the funeral home to Saint Gerald Church at 9310 S. 55th Court in Oak Lawn, Illinois for an 11:00 AM Mass.

Janina will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
