Jeanette Lois Visser, known affectionately as “Tootie,” passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 95. Visser was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister survived by a large, loving family. Her life was dedicated to her family, volunteer work, and faith.

Visser is survived by her children Jeanne, John, Tom, Sharie, Judy, Joan, Cindy, and Linda. She was a devoted grandmother to 24 great-grandchildren. Visser was also a cherished sister and aunt to her extended family.

A passionate volunteer, Visser spent her time at various organizations including St. Coletta’s, the Bible League, and Bibles for Missions Thrift Store. She will be remembered for her dedication to her faith, hospitality, and sense of humor.

A Memorial Service to commemorate Visser’s life will be held on July 1, 2025, at Calvary Church in Orland Park at 1:00 p.m. Donations in her memory can be made to the Bible League International or Mercy Ships.
