Bourbonnais – Jeffrey Scott “Jeff” Ahlden, 61, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois. Born on January 5, 1964, in Kankakee to Lou Ann Clark, Jeff led a diverse professional life, initially as a radio DJ before transitioning to a successful career as an HVAC salesman and property manager.

Jeff’s passions included music and travel, particularly cruising to destinations in the South. Following his retirement in 2022, he split his time between Bourbonnais and Florida with his partner, Lori Weedon, enjoying the sunshine. A devoted baseball fan, he rooted for the Chicago White Sox and had a spirited rivalry with the Cubs.

He is survived by his mother Lou Ann Clark; siblings Mark (Debbie) Ahlden and Traci (Arthur) Kremer; children Alec Ahlden, Seth Ahlden, Jeremy (Zoey) Ahlden, and Jennifer (Luke) Kellner. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Ahlden.

Visitation will be held at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. officiated by Rev. Lance Hurley. Interment will follow at Maternity B.V.M. Cemetery in Bourbonnais.
