Frankfort, IL – Jill E. Augustine, 78, loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Wood Dale, Jill attended East Leyden High School, Triton College, and Elmhurst College, embodying her dedication to learning, family, and faith.

Jill was the beloved wife of James Augustine for 54 years, creating a life enriched with love, faith, and family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Michael (Amy) and Jacquelyn (Ed), and took immense pride in being a grandmother to Preston, Patrick, and Olivia, her greatest joy.

Remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and boundless love for her family, Jill’s warm, generous, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will continue to thrive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until prayers at 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Mokena, located at 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448. Interment will be held privately at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
