Joseph Frank Sojka, known as Joe to his loved ones, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at his home in Hickory Hills, Illinois, at the age of 95. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lottie, his sons Robert and John, and his six cherished grandchildren. A visitation to honor Joe’s memory will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with prayers beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at Saint Fabian Church in Bridgeview, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Joe will be remembered for his creative spirit, dedication to his family, and love for his craft, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and compassion.
