Joliet Township High School announced on Apr. 16 that the JTHS CEO Trade Show will take place on April 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Louis Joliet Mall in Carson’s Court. The event will feature students who have developed their own businesses as part of the CEO Program, an immersive, year-long course designed to teach entrepreneurship through real-world experiences.

The trade show offers an opportunity for families, students, staff, and community members to connect with young entrepreneurs and explore their business ideas. It also serves as a chance for current JTHS sophomores interested in joining the program next school year to learn more about what participation involves and how they can apply.

The CEO Program emphasizes innovation, accountability, and professional development by having students collaborate with local business leaders, participate in site visits, and launch their own businesses during the course. According to the announcement, “This is a great opportunity to connect with our young entrepreneurs, explore their creative business ideas, and learn how the CEO Program is helping students grow through real-world, hands-on learning experiences.” Students are encouraged to contact CEO Facilitator Stephen Visser if they wish to schedule an Experience CEO Day.
