The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois announced on May 16 that Judge Jacqueline P. Cox’s Tuesday court schedule will be adjusted on May 19. The court stated that the usual times for Judge Cox’s calls will shift by thirty minutes each.

This change means the regular 1 p.m. call will begin at 1:30 p.m., and the typical 1:30 p.m. call will move to a new start time of 2:00 p.m. According to the announcement, “Judge Cox’s Tuesday 1 p.m. call will start at 1:30 p.m. and the 1:30 p.m. call will start at 2:00 p.m.” The matter originally set for a hearing at 2:00 p.m. is expected to proceed as close as possible to its scheduled time.

These adjustments are intended to keep proceedings organized while accommodating scheduling needs in Judge Cox’s courtroom.

No further information about reasons for this change or whether it applies beyond May 19 was provided in the announcement.
