Judith A. Brown (nee Taylor), 82, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at her home. She was the cherished wife of Dennis Brown for 61 years. Judith is survived by her brother, Jon Taylor, daughter-in-law Diane Brown, grandchildren Matthew, Alison, and Noah Brown, sister-in-law Bunny Sebock, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons David, Matthew, and Russ, grandson Ryan Brown, and brother Kent Taylor and his wife Margaret.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing, IL, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Judy served as the secretary at Coolidge School in Lansing for many years. She enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, and spending time at the beach, particularly the sand dunes. Above all, Judy held profound love for her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. In honor of her memory, the family kindly requests offering an additional prayer.
