Kalohexis announced on April 17 that it will present a poster at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2026, which takes place from April 17 to April 22 in San Diego, California.

The presentation will focus on the ongoing Phase 2 Paradox trial evaluating mifomelatide for cachexia in patients with advanced colorectal cancer. The topic is important as cachexia is a significant complication for many cancer patients and new therapies could improve patient outcomes.

According to Kalohexis, primary endpoints include changes from baseline in body weight, incidence and severity of adverse events, and incidence of laboratory or vital sign abnormalities. Secondary endpoints involve changes from baseline in appetite and quality of life. The presentation is scheduled for April 21 from 9:00 a.m. to noon Pacific Time during the session “Phase II and Phase III Clinical Trials in Progress” at Poster Section 51; Poster Board #14.

Its lead programs include an oral dual MC3R/MC4R agonist called 710GO for obesity and mifomelatide, a dual MC3R/MC4R antagonist intended for treating cachexia in advanced cancers.
