Kevin Louis Meany, a dedicated litigations paralegal and community builder, passed away on July 14, 2025, after bravely facing cancer. Meany, born on August 27, 1955, was the youngest of five sons to Dr. Robert and Doris Meany. He is survived by his loving wife Brigitte Lynn and brothers Thomas, Joseph, and Mark.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held at U.C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home in Morris, IL on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with a ceremony officiated by Celebrant Carol Walker and Rev. James Friesen. Aqua cremation rites will be performed.

Kevin Meany’s passion for nature, reading, classical music, and writing, including poetry, touched the lives of many. He leaves behind a legacy of community service through initiatives like the Appolonian Society and KLM Enterprise. Memorial gifts can be made to the donor’s choice in his honor.
