Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt announced on April 24 that he will host a Property Tax Appeal Seminar for residents of the 114th District. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holy Family Church’s gymnasium located at 109 Church St., Cahokia Heights.
The seminar aims to provide local homeowners with information about the process of appealing their property taxes. St. Clair County Board Member Ed Cockrell will present during the session, and attendees are encouraged to bring their property tax bills for review. Legislative staff will also be available to answer questions regarding state issues important to constituents.
