Kewaunee Scientific Corporation announced on April 14 the appointment of Jorge Santos as Vice President of International Sales for its Laboratory Products Group. Santos will report directly to Thomas D. Hull III, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The company said this move is part of its strategy to strengthen commercial leadership and accelerate growth in key global markets outside North America. “Jorge’s appointment marks a significant step forward in Kewaunee’s growth strategy outside of the North American market,” Hull said. He noted that while Kewaunee has focused mainly on India, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific—particularly India—new opportunities have emerged with the addition of Nu Aire’s product portfolio and distribution partners.
Santos brings over two decades of international commercial and operational experience, having led market expansions and built multinational sales organizations across more than 25 countries. Hull described him as an industry veteran based in Madrid, Spain: “Jorge joins Kewaunee with over two decades of international commercial and operational leadership, having guided market expansions, built several multi‑national sales organizations, and developed high‑performing dealer networks across more than 25 countries.” Hull added that Santos’ background spans Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.
The company stated that domestic operations for both Kewaunee and Nu Aire will remain under Ryan Noble’s leadership as Vice President of Sales & Market Development. B. Sathyamurthy (Sathya), President of Kewaunee International Group, will continue overseeing operations in India—a region described by Hull as offering long-term growth potential due to ongoing infrastructure investments.
Hull said strong regional leadership remains central to success: “These turnkey capabilities have set the team apart from the competition and created opportunities to expand the customer base served within India.” He also expressed optimism about future prospects: “We see an exciting opportunity ahead for Kewaunee on the global stage…the addition of Jorge’s experience and leadership further strengthens our organization.”
Founded in 1906, Kewaunee Scientific designs laboratory furniture products with headquarters in Statesville, North Carolina; it maintains offices in several countries including India and Singapore. Its newly acquired subsidiary Nu Aire manufactures laboratory equipment from facilities in Minnesota.
