Kirby School District 140 announced on April 17 its latest Weekly Wrap-Up, which showcases the talents and enthusiasm of students through a series of candid photographs. The district also reminded families that the registration discount deadline ends on April 30.
The Weekly Wrap-Up aims to celebrate student accomplishments and share moments from across the district. According to the announcement, “Each week, Kirby School District 140 celebrates the talents and passion of our students by posting a collection of candid photos. Every picture tells a story, and together, these snapshots capture the spirit of Kirby School District 140. #KirbyONE40 #EveryChildEveryDay”
Millennium Elementary School is one of the schools in Kirby School District 140. It had an enrollment of 567 students during the 2019-2020 school year and serves grades kindergarten through five in Tinley Park within Cook County, according to the Illinois Report Card.
Student distribution at Millennium Elementary showed that grade one had the highest percentage with 17.9 percent of all enrolled students during that period, as reported by Illinois Report Card. Other grades included fifth grade with 15.9 percent, fourth grade with 14.3 percent, third grade with 16.8 percent, and second grade with 14 percent among total enrollment figures for that year.
The district’s ongoing efforts to highlight student experiences reflect its commitment to community engagement and sharing positive stories from local schools.
