Kirby School District 140 released its weekly wrap-up on April 24, featuring a collection of candid photos that celebrate the talents and passion of its students. The district also reminded families that the registration discount deadline ends on April 30.
The weekly photo collection aims to capture the spirit of Kirby School District 140 by showcasing student activities and achievements. According to the district, “Every picture tells a story, and together, these snapshots capture the spirit of Kirby School District 140. #KirbyONE40 #EveryChildEveryDay”
Millennium Elementary School is one of the schools within Kirby School District 140. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade in Tinley Park and Cook County, with an enrollment of 567 students during the 2019-2020 school year, according to Illinois Report Card.
Student distribution across grades at Millennium Elementary shows that first grade had the highest concentration with 17.9 percent of all students enrolled in that year, as reported by Illinois Report Card. Fifth graders made up about 15.9 percent; fourth graders represented approximately 14.3 percent; third graders accounted for about 16.8 percent; and second graders comprised around 14 percent—each figure based on data from Illinois Report Card.
The emphasis on sharing student stories each week reflects an ongoing effort by Kirby School District 140 to foster community engagement and recognize individual accomplishments throughout its schools.
