Kirkland & Ellis advises ArcLight Capital Partners on sale to DigitalBridge

Kirkland & Ellis advised ArcLight Capital Partners on a definitive agreement to be acquired by DigitalBridge Group, Inc. for up to $1.05 billion, according to a May 27 announcement. The transaction includes a base purchase price of $650 million and up to an additional $400 million in contingent consideration.

The acquisition brings together two specialist platforms with combined assets representing more than $150 billion. According to the companies, the combination will form a leading alternative asset manager at the convergence of power, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure.
